For the kids

We have a magical glade in our farm that is home to a village of fairies and their cohorts. Fairies love flowers, so of course they flock here to be among them. Our fairy garden plays host to a very special story teller. She has long told the tales of the Silvan Glade and all the fae who dwell within it. Carrying the knowledge of the ages she loves to share her stories with the children who can carry on the folklore. Our Fairy is in Fairy Hollow telling tales, see her at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 3.00pm.

Discover millions of spring flowers

You can discover more than a million spring flowering bulbs on show, including over half a million tulips. As you stroll around the historic gardens you can pass through pockets of Holland, indulge in traditional Dutch foods and other treats. Visit our clog shop, find treasures in the souvenir and market stalls and enjoy nature. Hear tunes from the Findlay Dutch Fairground Organ. Test your powers of observation with your magical Dutch treasure hunt. See beautiful garden displays, visit our fairy garden, buy a bunch of tulips, have your face painted, play some old fashioned Dutch games and see historical displays. Photo opportunities abound with windmills, flowers and staff in traditional Dutch costume. Ride on the Tulip Tractor around the colourful fields. See our everyday section for a full list.
