Family Fun!
We have an awesome line up of family fun, including Live shows; The Octonauts Present: Captain Barnacles and the Octopod Rescue Week One of the holidays and Week Two, Peppa Pig joins us. We have our Fairy with intriguing tales in our Fairy Garden. You can touch and learn about Australian wildlife from Black Snake Productions. 11:30 and 2pm Join our Clog Dancing Workshop, see how it is done and give it a whirl. 1:00pm Historic Cheese Market performance where you see amazing spectacle of how Dutch cheeses were bought and sold. There are a variety of craft workshops on offer for a small fee. Children can test out their powers of observation on our Treasure Hunt, or participate in some fun Dutch and garden games, ride on our Tulip Train, indulge in traditional Dutch foods and other treats, see market stalls, visit our clog shop, and of course be amongst the sensational tulips. Peppa Pig - It's a rainy day at Peppa Pig's house, but that won't stop the fun! Join Peppa and our host Sammy as they play games, take a pretend ride in Daddy Pig's car and - of course - jump in muddy puddles! (FREE)
Interactive Australian Wildlife Show - Exciting and educational wildlife shows where visitors can interact with crocodiles, lizards, owls, pythons, marsupials and more. Along with their mobile zoo display and trained and caring staff, Black Snake Productions will amaze and inform. (FREE)
Fun Activites
Drumming Workshops - Come and immerse yourself in a drumming workshop for all ages. It is a lot of fun. (FREE)
Black Snake Animal Display - interact with crocodiles, lizards and more under the supervision of the trained and caring staff. They are here all day, with short breaks to rest and rotate the animals. (FREE)
Fairy Story Telling - An inspiring children’s story teller. Her terrific imagination and sense of fun makes for magical children’s entertainment. (FREE)
Face Painting - Sensational local artists will transform you into a superhero, tiger, fairy princess and more! LJ’s Crazy Faces and her team are the best there is, a beautiful way to add to your memories of the day. $18pp
Craft Workshops - Create a lasting memory of your visit that you can take home. Hands on activities involving the childhood favourites of painting, sticking and drawing ... and you don’t have to clean up the mess! Craft activities range between $6-$15.
Tulip Tractor Ride - Visitors can take a tour of the fields in our novel mobile. Fees apply.
More fun to be had!
Of course there are the millions of spring flowers on show, to wander through and enjoy. Our obstacle course is there to challenge young and old. You could try your hand at Sjoelenbak, the traditional Dutch game of skill and a little bit of luck. Relax in the sunshine with a picnic and some lawn games. Visit the fairy garden and discover some magic. Our Treasure Hunt is there to challenge, can you find the Flower Fairies to win your prize?! Check out the worlds biggest clog, and climb inside for a pic. Enjoy your time and make some memories.
